THE CANTINA
Happy hour starts when the sun seems lower in the sky. There are some snacks. The music gets a little louder. Kory fires-up the mesquite in the grill. Juan shakes a few cocktails, sets up a few beers. People are seen dancing back and forth to the head. By the time the string of red chile lights over the bar are seen twinkling from a distance, the grill is glowing, the fish are frying and dinner is served. Occasionally the place starts to rock spontaneously, and the muffled beat of the Conjunto band can be heard from the flickering campfires on the cliff below.
