THE GRILL
Kory and Taryn Robertson have been managing the cantina since the summer of 2006. Thanks to waiters Juan and Eric and cooks Christina, Genoveva and Rosalina, the kitchen is clean, the food is healthy (no lard), served quickly, and it is not too expensive.

The Cantina is open year round, seven days a week, 7:30 am to 10:00 p.m.
Prices are in Pesos and are subject to change without notice. The exchange rate in San
Juanico is currently 10 Pesos to the Dollar.

THE CANTINA
|

|
|
Happy hour starts when the sun seems lower in the sky. There are some snacks. The
music gets a little louder. Dave fires-up the mesquite in the grill. Juan shakes a few
cocktails, sets up a few beers. People are seen dancing back and forth to the head. By
the time the string of red chile lights over the bar are seen twinkling from a distance, the
grill is glowing, the fish are frying and dinner is served. Occasionally the place starts to
rock spontaneously, and the muffled beat of the Conjunto band can be heard from the
flickering campfires on the cliff below.
