  RECREATION

If you can bring it, you can do it at Scorpion Bay. Fishing, hiking, diving, wind surfing, parasailing, kayaking, surfing, bicycling, rock golf, swimming, volleyball, horse shoes, four wheeling, bring your own equipment. In the afternoons, if the tide isn't quite right for surf, walk the beach to town.

According to Squid Co., 3518 Barnett Avenue, San Diego, fishing licenses are required for fishing in Mexico. This applies to shore fishing as well as boat fishing. If you are fishing from your own boat, a boat license is also required.
More information is available from The Discover Baja Travel Club at www.discoverbaja.com (under the LINKS button) and Squid Co. 619-222-8955.
Although the above may be true, I have never heard of anyone who has been asked to show a fishing license while fishing from shore around San Juanico.
For more information contact Discover Baja Travel Club at 1-800-727-2252 or ask@discoverbaja.com.
